Description

John Lackhart and John Yorkstoun, master masons, 1500-1510.
Originally; gatehouse with twin round towers flanked by
D-plan towers all originally with corbelled parapets and
conical roofs with curtain walls, stretching to Princes Tower
and Elphistone Tower both rectangular in plan at angles.
