Description

Later Victorian. 2-storey symmetrical semi-detached villa,
coursed rubble, reversed plans, 2 bipartites over consoled
doorpieces with continuous iron balcony between spired canted
bays, mullioned and transomed windows; narrow bays and
single-storey piended wings (altered to garage at no 14)
beyond stop-chamfered openings except at doors; bracketted
broad eaved slated roofs with Art Furniture style braces at
gables and gablets, spired roofs of bays have bell-cast,
patterned slating and decorative iron finials; interesting
original chimney pots, diapered with crenellated tops.

Statement of Interest

Part of Kings Park Conservation Area group. The area is

an outstanding early to late Victorian villa development with

remarkably few later additions.
