Description

Dated 1884. Symmetrical 2-storey double villa with attic storey also squeezed in; neo-Jacobean gables to front. Modern dry-dash; ashlar dressings; modern glazing. 4 bays, spaced 1-2-1, the inner tow, containing paired doorways, below shaped gable. Canted ground floor windows, that to right (No 24) retains original cast-iron cresting. Apex stacks, slate roof, flat-roofed dormers over outer bays, close to roof ridge, have both been rebuilt. Modern concrete skews. Boundary wall topped by plain, spiked cast-iron railings; original gates.
