Description

Earlier 19th century, 3 storeys, 3 wide bays. Rubble, tooled
dressings. Centre door with panelled double leafed doors;
tripartites to ground floor (left) and 3 1st floor windows,
linked by cill band; 3 flat-headed dormers raised through
wallhead; 8 and 16-pane glazing; end stacks; slate roof.
Interior: some panelling and panelled window shutters.
Low rubble coped retaining wall with spearhead cast-iron
railing. Square channelled ashlar gate piers.

Statement of Interest

Appears as Bank on 1872 OS. Now solicitors' and architects'

office. Unfortunate modern window insertions to ground floor.
