Later 19th century. Picturesque row of 3 terraced traditional single storey farm workers? cottages each of 3 bays. Squared and snecked sandstone with stop-chamfered droved ashlar arrises. Eaves course.
E ELEVATION: shoulder-arched gabled (with ball finial) stone porch to centre of each cottage; boarded door with 2-pane fanlight above. Timber mullioned bipartite window to each flanking bay. Timber mullioned bipartite gabled dormer above each.
W ELEVATION: harled lean-to addition to centre of each cottage.
Lying-pane timber sash and case windows. Red-tiled roof incorporating bands of fish-scale tiles; ornamental ridge cresting. Brick mutual and wallhead stacks.
INTERIOR: not seen, 1995.
The cottages are a fine example of a common building type, with decorative ornamentation. They share similar design details as found at Langton Kennelman?s House (see separate listing). The cottages are presently uninhabited and falling into disrepair, 1995.
