Mid to later 19th century. 2 storey, 3 bay, rectangular plan, piend roofed house with attached single storey shop. Dressed, squared and snecked rubble with raised quoins and stone cills. Eaves course. Stone mullion.
W (HOUSE ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Deep set, panelled timber door with 2 leaf fanlight at centre in corniced doorway with scroll brackets, windows in flanking bays (that to left blocked), regular fenestration at 1st floor.
E (HAUGHMILL LANE) ELEVATION: windows in outer bays at ground (that to right blocked) and stair window at centre; 1st floor with window to right of centre and bipartite (altered) window to left.
N (MILTON ROAD, SHOP) ELEVATION: symmetrical, projecting, single storey, flat roofed shop. Part glazed timber door at centre in pedimented doorcase with cornice extending over flanking bays to diminished outer pediments; 2 part display windows flanking door. Recessed face of house above blank with dominant shouldered, wallhead stack.
4 pane glazing pattern and plate glass glazing in timber sash and case windows to house; plate glass display windows to shop. Modern concrete tiles. Coped, shouldered stacks with some polygonal cans.
BOUNDARY WALL GATEPIERS AND GATE: semicircular coped rubble boundary walls. Square ashlar corniced gatepiers with pyramidal coping and cast iron overthrow.
