Circa 1940. Single storey, rectangular-plan World War 2 air raid shelter. Pre-cast concrete block walls; reinforced concrete flat roof cast in-situ.

INTERIOR: built-in benches and stove pipe.

Statement of Interest

Unusual survival of small-scale air raid shelter, its form apparently unaltered.
