1832 for Elgin Railway. Long segmental-headed ashlar-lined culvert; 1 metre wide with radial voussoirs and splayed abutments. Concrete slab across top of no historical interest.
The Nethertown branch of the Elgin coalroad to Charlestown carried the first passenger railway in Fife. Traction was horse-drawn until 1852. The passenger service closed in 1863, but the goods service survived into the 1950's-60's.
