Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey, 4-bay rectangular-plan asymmetrical house in terrace. Cement-rendered and lined, painted at ground; harl pointed rubble to sides. Bracketed and corniced band course between ground and 1st floors; eaves course. Cement painted margins to openings; strip quoins.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: replaced timber door with large rectangular fanlight at ground in bay to right of centre; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in each bay flanking. Window at ground in bay to outer left.

Predominantly 12-pane timber sash and case windows; replaced timber casement windows at ground; evenly disposed roof lights. Old Orkney grey slate roof; concrete skews; stone ridge; coped rubble gablehead stacks with moulded cans to N and S; uPVC rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1997.
