Earlier 19th century. 2-storey 4-bay rectangular-plan near-symmetrical house; adjoined to W by No 124, (listed separately) and to E by No 120, (not listed). Harled. Eaves course.
N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: modern timber door at ground in bay to right of centre; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in each remaining bay.
4-and 12-pane timber sash and case windows. Stone slates; stone ridge; harled corniced gablehead stack to E; cast-iron rainwater goods.
INTERIOR: not seen, 1997.
In 1900, Robbie Tait, Watchmaker, occupied the premises. It was then used as a Coal Office which moved to number 126 circa 1950. Its first floor, along with that of number 124, was subsequently used as a British Legion Club until circa 1960.
