Description

Mid 19th century. Ice house built into high bank. Entrance of squared and snecked rubble with stugged ashlar dressings; segmental-arched doorway and deep-set boarded timber door.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.

Statement of Interest

Property of Strathmore Estates Holding Ltd. An earlier ice house (listed separately), rebuilt 1866, is situated to the SE of Glamis Castle.
