Description

Probably early 19th century. Single storey, 2-bay, rectangular-plan, former jail. Random rubble with large squared quoins and voussoirs; vaulted with round-headed door. Corrugated-iron roof.

SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: door to left of centre and window (formerly barred) to right; building extends to semi-derelict bays at outer right. Ashlar stack projecting to centre of roof pitch,

SW ELEVATION: blank at ground, raised in breeze block to gablehead with small opening.

INTERIOR: stone vault with small niches in wall thickness close to floor at SW and NE.
