Description

19th century. 4-storey, 6-bay terraced plain classical tenement with shops at ground. Sandstone ashlar and margins. Fascia band, cill band at 1st and 3rd floors, projecting and bracketed cills at 2nd floor, eaves cornice.

W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 7 bays at ground, recessed public house entrance (see notes) in penultimate bay from left, large window to left, common stair entrance with timber panelled door and fanlight in 3rd bay; Paired recessed shop entrance in penultimate bays from right with flanking shop windows, moulded brackets to shop to right of centre.

Timber sash and case windows with 4-pane glazing, grey slates, ridge stacks with terracotta cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
