Late 18th century with earlier 19th century alterations. 2-storey and attic 2-bay end of terrace cottage. Harled exterior with rendered ashlar dressings. Coped gable ends; architraved openings; projecting cills to windows.
N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: entrance with replacement timber door with glazed upper panels to left; window above and window to right to ground and 1st floors. Vertical margin to right of elevation.
W ELEVATION: window to left to ground and 1st floors; attic window to gable. Right side of elevation overlapped by gable end of No 24 East High Street.
E ELEVATION: adjoins No 28 East High Street.
Mainly 12-pane horned timber sash and case windows. Steeply pitched grey slate roof. Pair of flanking harled gablehead stacks with band courses; single round can to E stack.
INTERIOR: not inspected (1998).
The steeply pitched roof indicates an 18th century thatched building. Originally it may have included a 3rd bay, possibly to the E.
