Earlier 19th century. Single storey, 5-bay (3 extended to 4 with lower 5th bay), rectangular-plan, improved cottage. Harled whinstone and slate rubble. Regular fenestration.
NE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: boarded timber door to centre, 3-bay cottage with addition to left and slightly lower addition set back to right.
SW (REAR) ELEVATION: 3 small windows.
NW (SIDE) ELVATION: advanced gabled addition, large window to left return.
SE (SIDE) ELEVATION: harled gable end.Timber fixed pane and top hopper plate glass windows. Corrugated-iron roof. Stacks to gables of original cottage.
INTERIOR: not seen 2001.
