Description

Probably Alexander Johnston, 1875-77. 2 sets of square-section, fielded, ashlar gatepiers with carved frieze. Moulded finials to inner pair which flank carriage entrance with 2-leaf decorative ironwork gates, outer pedestrian gates (as above) and pyramidal-coped piers. Low saddleback-coped quadrants with inset railings and 2 further sets of pyramidal-coped ashlar piers.
