History

Built as a lodge to the nearby Stansty Lodge (see Nos 10-12 Weston Drive), c1840.

Exterior

Coursed and squared stone with slate roof. Single storeyed, originally a single range later extended by the addition of a wing. Canted front to Stansty Road, with central door with flanking casement windows with iron traceried glazing, all with drop-ended hood-moulds. fenestration on inner return renewed or inserted, the facade to Lodge Road largely blind but with side wall stack.
