History

Late C18.

Exterior

Large plain Georgian house now divided into flats, attached to separately listed warehouse in The Back, attached also to house in St Ann's Street . Rendered walls; slate roof, continuous with Wye House, and brick lateral stack. Wider frontage to St Ann's Street has a 3-window range of 6-pane horned sashes in exposed frames; central doorway with pedimented doorcase and side pilasters, flanked by tripartite sashes. The Back elevation has two 2nd floor windows, one to first and ground floors with similar doorway at right.

Reasons for Listing

Listed as a Georgian house, an integral part of the quay complex. Stuart House, the warehouse and Wye House form a continuous group.
