History

Probably C18, altered early C19 and C20. Since listing description of 1975 sashes have been replaced.

Exterior

Shop with accommodation above, attached at each side. Walls of scored stucco; machine tile roof with small brick end stack. Three storeys. Two-window range of C20 casements. Large C20 projecting shopfront.

Reasons for Listing

Listed notwithstanding alterations including window replacement for group value with other listed buildings in Beaufort Square and the top of Hocker Hill Street.
