History

Earlier C19 screen of low railings dividing front lawn of Llancayo House from field beyond, either contemporary with the house, built before 1818 for Edward Berry, silk-merchant, or part of a remodelling in the 1830s.

Exterior

Iron railings on low ashlar coping with grey sandstone ashlar square piers each end. Railings have tapered finials and urn stanchions, matching centre gate. Piers have raised plinths, cornices and pyramid caps.
