Telephone kiosk of K6 type designed in 1936 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott for the GPO, this example from the reign of George VI.
Telephone kiosk, square, red painted cast-iron with 2 glazed sides, glazed timber door on third and blank rear. Shallow domed roof with four lunettes containing embossed George VI crowns and ventilation slits. Raised surrounds to sides and door with marginal bars to horizontal glazing. Moulded plinth.
