Probably mid C19, with modern conversion. Formerly known as The Barracks and provided staff accommodation. It is said to have never in fact been a coach house.
Stone rubble with red brick voussoirs and a slate roof and rendered chimney stacks. Three storeys. Three doorways to right, 2 being 6-panelled, and a modern entrance to the left. Six and 9-pane sash windows, only one with horns. Similar sash windows to the left end. A taller water tower adjoins to the rear; of brick, with a pyramidal roof. A rubble boundary wall is to the left.
Included for group value with Vaynol Hall.
