Style was the farmhouse of a tenancy under the Earl of Cawdor, tenanted by R Hitchings in 1782, and J Benyon in 1839. The older part is the east side, with a very large chimney standing out from the gable wall, the upper part of the stack being about 0.3 m away from the main gable. It is built of rubble masonry. It has two ovens, one at the rear, and one at the side of the hearth. It has been called a `Flemish' chimney and there were once a number of examples of these huge square chimneys in Pembrokeshire
