Apparently an unpretentious boulder, with a dedication plaque. -In loving memory of Emma Dixon of Lewisham, Kent, who died 3rd Dec 1909 aged 70. A singular friend to the poor, and a doer of much good. As -Emma Leslie- she wrote many widely read books. She rests in peace, her work lives on-. (Photo Oct 2010).
