Castle Bridge

A Grade II Listed Building in Brecon, Powys

Castle Bridge, Brecon

Uploader's Comments

The parapet wall at the north western corner of the bridge turns to follow the side of the road known as the Postern. Beneath the parapet is a stone doorway which appears to have once led under the road to the castle grounds. The doorway is now blocked inside but can still be accessed via a path down to the riverbank through the gap shown on the left of this photo.
