History

Building first appears in similar form in prints of mid C19 date. Photos as early as 1870s show a flat roof with iron railings between the still existing corner piers.

Exterior

South elevation of two storeys, three windows. Stucco. Flat roof with small stone pier at each angle of the building. In south elevation, small-pane sash windows in reveals; 9-pane sashes with dripstones to upper floor, 12-pane sashes with labels to ground floor. Broad square-headed central ground floor doorway.
