Late Cl7/early Cl8 origins, enlarged to right in earlier Cl9 and then completely remodelled in late Cl9 to create the present overall character.
3-storey, 3 l-window painted render elevation with plinth, slate roof, wide eaves and red brick chimney stack to left. The projecting right hand bay structurally forms the end of a uniformly remodelled early Cl9 group with earlier origins. This bay has rusticated quoins and dentil eaves cornice; each bay has steep gable over 2nd floor window. The Doric porch (now with glazed side) is set in the angle to the left of the projecting bay. Splayed 2-storey bays to either end and single storey bay beside the porch. Sash glazing, horned 4-pane except to the lst floor of right hand bay which has small pane glazing. Red brick left gable end, cross range to rear with similar sashes; modern extension. Large chimney stack to main fireplace.
The ground floor retains the ceiling beams and fireplace on the rear wall from the original building. Otherwise altered.
Group value.
