Exterior

Late C18. Rendered brick with incised lines. Plinth, string courses at cill heights, quoined surrounds and corner angles - all over-painted. Two storeys with attic and cellar, double pile, two flush end stacks, slate roof, boxed eaves. Three windows, ground and first floor Venetian style with raised keystones, attic storey arched, all with modern glazing bars to window heads and casements below. Central raised door, recessed with plain surround and flat canopy on carved brackets. Elaborate mid C19 wrought iron bracket supporting lamp over front door. Flat arch to cellar opening on lower right hand side. Modern glazing to gable ends, modern brick lean-to at rear.

Interior

Formerly with plan of four equal rooms and central stairs; damaged by fire in 1963 and now open plan on both sides of modern stairs. Further alterations in 1987 with false timber-work applied to ground floor walls.
