History

Early C19 house and shop.

Exterior

Three-storey two window front in local red brick; slate roof; brick chimneys. Second floor has two windows with nine-pane casement glazing, stone sills. On first floor, two twelve-pane hornless sashes, stone sills. On ground floor, to R, early C19 shopfront consisting of doorway and window (L) set under shallow cornice; almost square small shop window; doorway has six-panelled door rectangular overlight; panelled jambs.
To L of shopfront, entrance doorway with pedimented doorcase, panelled returns, six panelled door; to R of doorway, small-pane hornless sash window, glazing bars removed from lower sash.
