C19 fronts probably to earlier fabric. 3-storey to No 12, 2-storey and basement to No 13; together forming 4-window roughcast and render front. Slate roof, boxed eaves, brick chimney on rear pitch. 6- and 8-pane sashes to No 12, multi-pane metal frame casements to No 13. Advanced shop front to No 12 on curved (volute) brackets; flush shop front to No 13 with boarded stallriser. Glazed and panelled doors to both. 2 windows to south elevation facing down "Narrows".
