Early to mid C19 cottage pair consisting of double fronted house to left and house to right with single window front and rear wing under catslide roof. Two storeys, painted coursed rubble stone, slate roof, brick end stacks.
Four-panel doors; porches of thin planks with decorative gables. Irregular windows under flat lintels, all small-paned timber casements. Both houses have later corrugated tin extensions at the gable ends.
A well-preserved example of a small regional house type.
