History

Lychgate to the parish church, of uncertain date, possibly C17, but more probably early C18. Illustrated in an early C19 print of previous church by H. Gastineau. Restored 1995.

Exterior

Rubble stone with slate roof, stone gable each front, without coping stones, and broad round arch with stone voussoirs. Arch-braced collar-truss in oak. Recesses towards front within on both sides with oak lintels.

A rare surviving example of a pre C19 church lychgate.
