Exterior

Tall 4 storey, 3 window late Georgian stucco front, eaves cornice and blocking course, tiled roof behind. Linked cill bands, 1st floor windows with ironwork balconies on moulded brackets, sashes with glazing bars to top floor, leaded lights to second, later small-pane glazing below (including ground floor tripartites). Porch over pavement, cast-iron columns with angle brackets and railed balcony, studded door to entrance. Tall colourwashed rear above Strand, sash windows with small-pane glazing.

Interior

Ground floor interior is open-plan with vine tendril friezes, full-height panelling; rear area with segmental arched ceiling, cusped and interlacing plasterwork.
