Veranda House in Singleton Park

A Grade II Listed Building in Sketty, Swansea

Veranda House

Uploader's Comments

The present-day ruin was part of the grand house left after major part of building was demolished by a grief stricken husband after his new wife died in childbirth. It became a residence for the head gardener of the Vivian estate (the "gardener's cottage"). Following a fire the ruin is no longer accessible to the public. It is in a private yard belonging to the botanical garden in Singleton Park.
