Exterior

Early C19 Gothic gate tower set back between octagonal lodges. Stonework laid to narrow courses, stressed quoins, plinth.
Central rectangular entrance tower. Crenellated parapet over continuous band. Pointed arched gateway, recessed inner arch. Modern iron gates.
Single storey octagonal lodges. Crenellations and bands as tower, slated octagonal roofs. Windows to front and rear. Slightly cambered stone voussoirs, returned labels, stone sills. Modern timber shutters. Blocked doorways formerly gave access to gate passage, stone voussoirs.
