History

Mid to later C19 terraced building of which facade only was retained in late C20 development. Possibly built as a pair with No 2 adjoining.

Exterior

Former commercial premises, now facade only. Painted stucco with flat eaves, three storeys, double fronted, offset to left. Band over ground floor and windows in raised shouldered surrounds. Renewed sash windows, square 6-pane to top floor, 12-pane to first floor and plate glass to ground floor each side of recessed modern fixed 4-panel door with stucco cornice on consoles above.

Interior

Interior demolished.

Reasons for Listing

Retained on list notwithstanding demolition of all but facade for group value.
