History

Earlier C19 cast-iron mileplate, one of a series on the Fishguard to Haverfordwest turnpike made by Marychurch foundry of Haverfordwest.

Exterior

Triangular headed iron mileplate set in stuccoed graveyard wall to Hermon Baptist Church. Inscribed: "14 miles 170 yards to Haverfordwest" (14 miles 155.5m) and "Marychurch Founder".

Reasons for Listing

Included as a special relic of road transport history in the region.
