End-of-terrace house possibly early C19. Building shown on this site on the tithe map of 1844. The ridge line is lower than No 3 adjoining, possibly indicating that this house is added to the row.
Terraced house, colour-washed roughcast cladding with corrugated asbestos roof and brick end stacks. Right stack is rendered and left stack is common with No 3. Three window range with large horned 4-pane sash windows throughout and central C20 half-glazed door. First floor windows directly under eaves and same size as those below.
Included as the prominent end of terrace house in a significant early C19 vernacular row.
