History

Early to mid C19

Exterior

Walls to roughly square walled garden, galletted rubble stone, the blocks especially massive at SW corner. Garden is at higher level than front garden of house and is entered up 11 slate steps to door in projecting rubble stone doorway with slate lintel and rubble pediment. Similar gateway on north side and small Gothic doorway (blocked) in NE angle. SE angle is curved to follow road line. A similar high rubble wall links the W wall of the garden with the E wall of the house.
