Without winding and lifting cables; mechanism and jib seem otherwise intact lying on ground (autumn 1990).

Possibly later C19. Pivotted metal upright with ratchet winding gear and pulley-drum bolted to the head. Timber crane-jib hinged at base and with top pulley remaining. Counterpoised arm to canal side.
