Milestone, after 1769.

Stone. A short rectangular pillar with gabled top, now partially buried, with painted inscription replacing original, and reading Pool 5 / Oswestry 10 1/2.

Reasons for Listing

One of the few remaining milestones erected on the Welshpool to Oswestry Road by the Turnpike Trust.
