History

Marked on 1838 Tithe Map.

Exterior

Early to mid C19 single storey, lofted cottage in whitewashed rubble stone with painted brick ends stack and modern slate roof. Double fronted with modern centre door and modern window each side, narrow to right. Two-room plan with steep stairs up to loft floor from centre rear. Gable end loft lights.

Reasons for Listing

Included as good surviving regional example of small, single storey, lofted cottage.
