History

A bee shelter dating probably from the C19, but it could well be older as such things did not change.

Exterior

Thin coursed dry stone garden wall has a rectangular framed opening with recess behind facing south. This retains two circular stone platters for the bases of the bee skeps.

Reasons for Listing

Included as a good example of a bee bole and having group value with Ty-mawr Farmhouse and barn.
