History

Croglofft cottage, probably mid C19, not marked on 1844 Llanfaelrhys Tithe Map.

Exterior

Cottage, whitewashed rubble stone with roof of small slates and end stacks. Larger stone stack to left with dripstones and pyramid capping, smaller roughcast stack to right. Single-storey, lofted within, double fronted with 4-pane horned sash each side of ledged door. Rendered right end wall with loft light. Left end outbuilding, whitewashed with stable door.

Reasons for Listing

Included as an exceptionally well-preserved example of a croglofft cottage.
