History

One of a group of cottages, possibly of early-mid C19 date, forming a terraced row.

Exterior

This cottage retains the original framed and boarded door with plain rectangular overlight, but the timber windows are without their glazing bars.

Reasons for Listing

Included as a part of a well-preserved row of C19 village vernacular cottages, a distinctive element within the nucleated village, and a type once common but now relatively rarely surviving intact
