Publicly-funded memorial to Annie Lawrence who died in 1908 aged 19.
A marble sculpture of a classically robed woman holding a bunch of flowers. It stands on a tall sandstone base with moulded plinth and cornice. The E side of the base bears an inscription in engraved letters: 'Erected by public subscription in honoured memory of Annie Dorothy Lawrence ... of Abertridwr who died August 17th 1908 yielding up her life rather than her virtue'.
Included for its social-historical interest and for group value with the church and other associated listed items.
