History

Farm building, possibly mid C19 and probably built for the Dynevor estate. L-plan with lofted cartshed in one range and barn in other, with stable in angle. Pigsties on end wall.

Exterior

Farmbuilding, rubble stone with slate roof, L-plan. The shorter range has loft over 2-bay cart-shed, with outside stone steps to loft door on end wall. Two loft windows (now 6-pane C20 casements) over two cart-entries with grey limestone voussoirs to elliptical arched heads. Door with stone voussoirs to left, in angle to barn range.
Barn range is well-detailed with good stonework. Broad door to right with limestone voussoirs, two loops, then tall barn doors, and one further loop to left. Barn doorway has stone voussoirs to shallow arch and double boarded doors. Slated pent roof on 2 wooden posts. End wall has three loops and attached low range of three pigsties with brick jambs to entries and stone yard walls in front.

Reasons for Listing

Included for group value with the farmhouse and as a good C19 farm range with well crafted stonework and retaining a pent roof over the barn entry.
