A late C19 addition to the Howick farmyard, perhaps in 1884 when the house was altered.
Built of roughly coursed limestone rubble with a Welsh slate roof. Long rectangular single storey range at right angles to the house and about 50m from it. Stable openings on yard front, two cart openings at the rear, also with three doors and a window, hay loft window in the gable.
The interior is mostly plain but it retains a fitted stable with three stalls. Victorian machined king-post roof.
Included for group value with the house and barns at Howick Farm.
