History

First-half C19 carthouse and granary block.

Exterior

Rectangular 2-storey carthouse and granary block of local rubble construction with medium-pitched slate roof. Symmetrical front, with 2 segmentally-arched entrances having rough-dressed voussoirs recessed below arch-rings formed of narrow stones. On the upper, granary floor are 2 equally-spaced, 2-light windows. The L gable end has an external stone stair giving access to an upper entrance; boarded door and pegged frame.

The interior was not inspected at the time of survey.

Listed as a first-half C19 carthouse retaining good original external character .

Part of a good farmstead group at Llaithgwm.
