History

The Craig-y-Don area was not part of the Mostyn holdings in Llandudno. In June 1884, land was sold as freeholds, rather than the Mostyn leaseholds; 2210 acres were sold in 3 days. Nos 1-8 East Parade, and all of Craig-y-Don Parade are on the OS map of 1888.

Exterior

2 gabled dormers with modern glazing; two-light mullion windows rounded at upper corners on second floor. On first floor canted three-light storeyed bay window to left hand descending to basement. Right hand first floor bay has a two-light window with pilasters and columned mullion. A flight of steps flanked by stuccoed balustrade ascends to doorway which has shallow canopy supported by brackets; modern door.
